Fidel to talk to university students
A few days before the start of the new educational year and in the face of another war in the Middle East with unforeseeable consequences for the world, Comandante en Jefe Fidel Castro is to speak to university students during an event on the University of Havana Steps this Friday, September 3, at 7:30 a.m.

of the Republic of Guinea Bissau
PRESIDENT Raúl Castro Ruz received on Monday afternoon Malam Bacai Sanhá, president of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, who is on an official visit to our country.The two leaders discussed the state of bilateral relations, which they both described as satisfactory and other issues of regional and international interest. Also participating in the meeting were Adelino Manoqueta, minister of foreign affairs of Guinea Bissau, and José Ramón Machado Ventura and Bruno Rodríguez Parilla, first vice president and minister of foreign affairs, respectively.
